Miss Universe 2009

This has to be one of my most awaited moments every year. Just like American Idol, the Miss Universe pageant has been an obsession along with all other beauty pageants, since I was small. I even remember my dad waking me up, early in the morning, for the 1992 Miss Universe pageant which was held here in Manila. It always gives me an unexplainable rush! ahahahahahhaha Like they say, it's the superbowl of beauty pageants! The level is always 5 times higher!

Let's all pray for our girl, Pamela Bianca Manalo, who's been working really hard in Bahamas. I haven't seen a Filipina delegate since Miriam Quiambao, who has that extra sumthin sumthin! That wow factor! I always say this, when you're competing for the Miss Universe you can't just walk, you have to strut it! You can't just smile, you have to beam! This is the major leagues, you can't just be the pretty girl, you have to be a goddess!! And Bianca Manalo has been, from what I've seen in youtube videos, all that! And, for once, we have a towering 5'10" tall contestant!

It's just so depressing that I won't be able to watch the pageant live. I have so much work to do tomorrow, but God knows I'll be praying for our dear Miss Philippines! Please don't let her choke... (like Miriam Quiambao) hehe

Now it's all up to the pageant gods!

The biggest of luck to Miss Philippines!!!!

Bring home the Crown!!!

:)

Belo Anyone?

Well I think it's about time! Contestants from around the world have been touching up or even overhauling their whole bodies before flying to compete! It's only been the Philippines, who have not welcomed the idea! Enhancement lang naman!

Goodluck to Ms. Philippines, Pamela Bianca Manalo! I hope you're the third Filipina to bag the crown!

:)

And I Love You So

OHMYGUARD!!

Just came from the cinemas to watch the movie, And I Love You So, with my mom, brother and his fiancee, and I'm still sniffing from crying! ahahahaha

Super ganda! I don't like Bea Alonzo, but I think this is the best she's acted so far! Even Sam Milby was good! Kinilig ako sa kanya ng bonggang bongga! Derek oh Derek, I just can't seem to say anything bad about you! I have to give it to the director, Lauren Diyogi! The film was very well made! I was surprised that I really liked it. I thought it would be a very heavy story, but it seems that it was very balanced movie. Good it didn't have the cheesy factor or it would've been one of those! ahahahaha

It would be a first time that I would say this, but I think I would surely want to see it again! Kaya for those who have not yet seen the film, I highly advise you do!

Here's the trailer.

Jesi Hair

Had a haircut the other day at Jesi Mendez, Robinson's Galleria. Was itching to get a haircut for a month now, and finally I did last Thursday. Parang it was a relief! I don't know why, but I'm glad I did it! Haha

Thank you to Divine who listened to what I wanted, and to Anna who gave me a very relaxing shampoo!

Patpong

Aug 16, 2009

It's our last night in Bangkok and there's one placce we're itching to go to, Patpong. It's the redlight district of Bangkok, and it has become a very popular attraction for tourists. If you've heard about it and all the strories that come along , well I was there to see and experience first hand.

OHMYGUARD!!! Now I can say that I've seen everything! ahahahahaha All the rumors and stories are true! I'm sorry if I wasn't able to take photos , but believe me! It changed my life forever!!! ahahahahahahaha

After the fair, Aby and I got back to our hotel room to rest for a while and eat the dinner we had taken out from Subway. Then, we went to this mall called Central World to meet three Filipinos who were living there, and who have been helping out in the fair. They gladly agreed to go with us to Patpong.

We went to this called Queen's Castle and it was filled with topless women!! OF ALL AGES!! Even those who were old enough to be mothers!! ahahahahahahha The main attraction of the club were the women and the different uses of their vagina! wahahahahahha There were some who used it to open bottle caps, some used it to shoot on balloons, and some even smoke!!! I couldn't even get the beer I was drinking down my throat with what I was watching!! It was so crazy!!! ahahahahahha And then there was this Thai girl who put a banana inside her vagina then shoot it all the way accross the room! The banana even hit the girl beside us, who didn't notice because she was texting!! Eeewwww!! ahahahahahahha

The filipino guy who was with us knows practically everyone in that club! hahahahahhaha He knows the manager of the club who already speaks a little tagalog, it was so funny! Her name was To or Too. She told me to finish my drink because she was bringing me and Aby to the men's club! ahahahahahahha It was Thai boy heaven!! ahahahahahhaha everyone looked so hot! ahahahahhahaha It was funny how improved the guys looked compared to the icky ladies on the first club!! ahahahahahhahaha But we didn't stay long because the other Pinoys were waiting at the other club and it's already late! ahahahahah So there!

The following day was just pure shopping before our flight. Good thing we had the whole day to do our last minute shopping because we had the latest flight to manila.

Like what I said to Aby, "What a way to end our trip!"

Ahahahahahhaha

Side Trip

Aug 16, 2009

Of course you can't leave Bangkok without riding a tuktuk, their version of a tricycle. We had a ride going to Central Worll mall.
