Discrimination?

Bakit biglang nauso ang discrimination?? I've been hearing stories left and right! The more popular ones were with Bebe Gandanghari at Aruba bar and Inday Garutay, who even filed a suit (I think...haha). Another friend of mine wrote on his Facebook status, "Mikki G: experienced what GandangHari experienced in a bar last Friday night. now, let's talk about outright discrimination. =)"

Read the stories of Bebe here and on her blog.

I had a similar experience at Manor last Saturday. I was in line with my twin brother Miguel and my cousin Mark to check on the guestlist. Upon our turn, the girl said that our names weren't on the list. I got my phone to look for the text of my friend and when I found it I showed it to the girl. She immediately stamped us with a black VIP mark on our hands. After the guestlist girl, on the door were the bouncers. I was in front of the bouncer on the left. He quickly told me, "Bawal po." So I just thought it was because I was wearing a pair of sandals. Being an Embassy owned club, they impose the same rules. So I stepped aside and waited for my other cousin who was also going with us. When they arrived, we checked out their trunk where there were two basketball rubbershoes. OHMYGUARD! I would've looked hilarious with that! ahahahahaha Then found a pair of leopard round-toe flats, which was a little bigger than my size. So I decided to use that instead. When we got back to the door, the bouncer reacted shoutingly saying, "Pumunta na yan eh, bumalik na naman!" Puzzled, I then asked, "Ano ba yung bawal?" To my surprise, he answered,"Yung mga lalakeng nagbibihis babae!" OHMYGUARD!!!!

I have never been so humiliated and violated at the same time! I wasn't even wearing anything vulgar! Pati naman lalaki nagsusuot ng skinny jeans noh! My shirt was even very loose that night! Super nakakahiya! ang dami daming tao dun! I demand a public apology! ahahahahahaha

I tried to call Caleigh, who was the manager of the club and the friend of my kumpare (haha), and explained to her what happened. She kindly met me outside. After talking, Caleigh approached the other bouncer on the right. He called me and said to the other bouncer, "Ok na yan, sponsor natin yan.." Bwahahahahahaha What a way to make the mean bouncer shut up! ahahahahaha

I didn't exactly get mad at the club and the management, but with how that particular bouncer deal with me at that moment.

All that drama turned into something when I got to meet Jose Sarasola (Pinoy Fear Factor) inside! ahihihihi

Here are other pictures from that night.

Thank you so much to Dennis and Caleigh for all the help!

:)
