Almost there...

In a few days, I will be enjoying the sun, the sand and the ocean.

:)

Welcome Home!

After almost 11 years of being away, I finally got to meet and reunite with my Tita Tess Montero and my cousin Mark. They arrived here last week and it has been nonstop

I was an incoming freshman in High School when they left the Philippines for San Francisco. Since then, the only one who frequently flies back to manila is their dad, Tito Jummy. Carla has been returned to the Philippines, and is now living here for already a year. No, that mark and Tita Tess is here for a month of vacation, Chris is the only one left who's yet to visit Manila.

WELCOME HOME MARK AND TITA!!! :)

Best of Country!

Last night's American Idol, I have to say, was the best I have seen for a Country themed episode! In fairness, super bongga halos lahat!

I didn't like..

Adam-strange
Allison-not for Country music
Michael-never like him from the start

I loved..

Matt- really good with the piano and I agree with the comparison to Justin Timberlake
Megan- looked like a real performer and she even had the flu
Lil- i just liked her song choice, but I'm not a fan
Kris- super cute when he sings!!
Danny- loved the Carrie Underwood song choice and he nailed it!
and of course.. ANOOP!!- he redeemed himself from his performance last week, was the best of the night!! :D

On the other hand..

Alexis chose the wrong song for her, but I still love her voice! Scott naman, ok lang.. hehe

Here's Anoop's super fabulous performance last night, singing Always On My Mind by Elvis

Blood

BUHLUDUH! ahahahahahahaha

Bakla!

Yesterday morning...

I have a new maid.

He's gay!

I got excited, someone can help me blowdry my hair and straighten it with a flat iron.

Before going to work yesterday, I showered and dressed up.

Went to my cousins' for dinner after work.

After eating I asked my mom, "Ma, kamusta yung bagong katulong?"

My mom said, "Wala na."

Then I said, "Anong wala na?"

Then my mom said, "Lumabas, di na bumalik, lumayas."

Then I said to myself, "Gagang bakla yun! Baka may kinuha sa bahay!"

Haaay..

I got too excited, too soon!

Bakla siya!

ahahahahahahahaha

GG2E18

After the very long wait, the 18th episode of Gossip Girl finallly aired. I got super confused with the jumble of things and issues popping out everywhere! Parang ang daming gusto isulat nung mga writer at sinulat talaga nila lahat!! Ang gulo!! ahahahahaha

But I did like the second half of the episode! The play scene was super funny! I also liked and kept on laughing when Vanessa was talking to Serena on the phone to help her out with her director crush who turned out to be a homosexual! ahahahahaha

Ang dami pang away away! Blair got mad at the Asian girl for getting her slot at Yale. Blair got mad at Dan for the wrong reason. He wanted Dan's head on a plate!! ahahahaha OA! Serena got mad at Blair for the wrong reason. Dan got mad and dumped Ms. Carr for the right reason. Eh kamusta naman nung nagalit si Nate nang super bilis kay Vanessa, and for a while there, akala mo break na sila... for the wrong reason!! ahahahaha

The two lamest and funniest (in order) parts for me of the episode were, first, was when Chuck went rushing to that hotel to meet up the girl who needed her help, and to find out that she never really needed his help!! ahahahaha Super pointless scene!!! Poor Chuck! Lastly, was when Dan was reading Ms. Carr's letter to him with matching voice over, saying in the end... "Thank you, R" R daw??? ahahahahahahaha It's as if she's already on the same level with Blair (B) and Serena (S)! And as if she's in High School!! wahahahaha Hay nako he writers of the show!!

But don't get me wrong, I'm still a fan ha! ;) hihi

The City Season Finale

I just finished watching the season finale of The City, and I loved it!!! Somehow, I'm super glad that the series is over, beacause it means that The Hills is up next!! Wooohoo!!! Can't wait to see the new season of LC's hit realtiy show!!

I loved the season ender so much!! I'm even happy that Olivia is leaving for London, because she's just such a SUPER BITCH. Although, I think Whitney deserves the opportunity more. Olivia, once again, pranced her way by being charming over Whitney. I would like to give Whit props for finally making a stand and dumping Jay for good! Maybe Jay just wanted to make up with Whitney so he gets to stay in the show?? (dabah?!) ahahahaha Eh kamust naman ang lola DVF mo?? Kung makachika kay Whitney parang super close nila!!! ahahahahahaha

Oh well.. I just can't wait any longer to see the new season of The Hills!! :)

Anyone knows when it's starting? Hit me up!

LET'S DO OUR PART.

CUTE!!!

Ok cute and funny!!! ahahahahahaha

Confessions of a Shopaholic

I just watched Confessions of a Shopaholic today. Even before the movie was released, I was super hesitant to watch it. I thought that Isla Fisher (Rebecca Bloomwood) wasn't fit for the role. I just didn't know who she was. I even wished it was Anne Hathaway who played the lead role for the film.

As I watched the movie, she really grew into me. Isla was very adorable in the film, and ok I ate what I said early in the movie. I judged right away! ahahahaha She was funny and very likeable and cute and charming! I'm already a fan! :) ahahahahaha The guy was also cute by the way! There was just one thing that creeped me out about the movie... THE TALKING AND MOVING MANEQUINS!!!! OWW MY GUARD!! super nakakatakot kaya!! ahahahaha

If you haven't seen it, I advice you do right away! :)

Play time

I went to UP last Saturday to watch a play entitled 110. It was the thesis of my friend, Arkel Mendoza. He actually wrote and composed the songs, which was actually amazing! The songs were really good. :)

The play is about their subject, Theater 110, and the people revolving around it- the students. It was well written and well directed. The students were the main characters of the play and everyone of them had the chance of telling their own story. All those different stories packed into one musical made it very interesting, especially that it was relatable and was based on something real.

There were a lot of things I loved about it. It started with a very long musical and dance number. They had a very interesting, set which connected the main stage to another set by a wall with windows. The play had a lot of very funny moments and some kilig moments. It really helped that there were two cute guys on the show! ahahahaha What moved me the most was the ending. I honestly wanted to cry when one of the characters died. It has been a long time since I've seen a play/musical, and once again Arkel and his group never failed to entertain! :)

Good job you guys! :)

After seeing the play, my friend Aj and I went to Bugsy's in Ortigas for drinks. We met up with his friend IC Mendoza, which I had the pleasure of meeting for the first time. He was looking different from his popular girly image, wearing a blue long sleeved shirt, jeans and a pair of stylish sneaks. Together with IC was his boyfriend, another guy friend and Shai, who was also a fashion student in CSB. I was, at first, silent and hesitant to make chika because I had an impression that IC was mataray. But he was actually nicer than I thought. He told a lot of chismis and was super funny.

My friends, Pow and Paul, followed us there and unlike me, they clicked with IC instantly! ahahahaha Eh pano ba naman, we found out that he was a Tekken addict just like the two! Ayun, the whole night suddenly became all about Tekken! ahahahahaha Biglang kami na ni Aj yung di nakarelate! ahahahaha Pero it was funny how they talked about it and how suddenly there was already a plan to play Tekken together. We had so much fun with them that night! Thanks for the wonderful time! :)

Dapat siguro magpractice na ako maglaro ng Tekken??? bwahahahahaha

Visiting the King of Rap

After the get together we had with our balikbayan friend, we decided to visit the wake of the King of Pinoy Rap, Francis Magalona. It was around 2am already and surprisingly, there weren't a lot of people at the Christ the King Church. As we got there, we met some of our friends, who came in just before us. We immediately saw Maxene at the sitting area outside and approached her right away. We all gave her hugs and expressed our condolences.

We all went in to look at the body of Francis just before leaving the church. Maxene went inside with us. As we approached the coffin, we could here the sound of Francis' records playing on the background. The walls of the room are filled with huge flower arrangements sent by family and friends from the industry and politics as well. Right in front of us was Parokya ni Edgar front man, Chito Miranda. After him viewing, it was our turn to finally see the body of Francis Magalona. He was wearing an all black ensemble, and in his hands is a gold rosary. It was such a surreal moment for me. I just couldn't believe that in front of me was the lifeless body of such an amazing artist. It suddenly came back to me that during kinder, my twin brother and I performed Mga Kababayan together. After leaving the church, my sadness then was replacedby the thought that Francis is already done suffering and is already resting in heaven.

RIP

Since I started the day talking about gays. Let me continue with another entry about it! ahahahaha

One of my barkadas from high school got back from the States, where he's already based. I haven't seen him in years, and finally he's back home for a visit.

Erwin, invited us for dinner and drinks at his Tierra Pura house in Quezon City, last Saturday. It was a reunion of his family, former blockmates in Ateneo, teammates from his varsity volleyball team and of course, us his high school barkada! ahahahaha

Final 13!

For the first time in American Idol history, there are 13 contestants in this year's singing competition!

Last night, 8 wild card hopefuls battle it out for a spot in the top 12. I loved the performance of Jasmine, singing Reflection by Christina Aguilera. Just like the judges, I was surprised by the range she displayed on that song. She was one of the girls, from her first auditions, that I really hoped would make it through to the top 12. On the other hand, I am still on the fence with Megan. I still have not seen what the judges are seeing in her. But I do agree she has a very unique talent and personality. Matt has been an early favorite because of his distinct bluesy tone and style, and I'm glad he got in. For a while there, when it came down to Matt and Anoop for the last spot, (OW'W MY GUARD!) I couldn't breathe and was praying the whole time for Anoop! Then they called Matt's name!! Another, heartbreak for the Indian charmer.. But Simon quickly called back Anoop and announced that they're making it different this season with 13 contestants!! For the second time around, Anoop was again called and picked last!!! What a relief!!!! Anoop's reaction was priceless!! He deserved it!

Congratulations Anoop!!

He better pick the right song to sing tonight!!!

Good Luck!! :D

Francis Magalona

Francis Magalona passed away at noon today.

Have you seen Pops Fernandez's billboard for Philisophy Spa by Mikaela?

I don't think it looks sexy! ahahahaha It could've been more tasteful, in my opinion. Parang dinaganan lang siya ng ahas na super laki and parang bigat na bigat siya!! ahahahahaha Pops does not look sexy in it, she even looks weak..

Sana ganito na lang...

Dabah?? Sexier! :D ahihihihihi

Opinyon ko lang!

Together again

period.

Love Lauren!

This April 2009 Seventeen magazine cover of Lauren Conrad is super nice!! :)

I am such a big Lauren Conrad fan!!! This obsession started way back with the show Laguna Beach and continued with the hit reality The Hills (all shows by MTV).

Check out the Season 5 trailer of The Hills
