Iced Chocolate

Aug 14, 2009

11:00 pm

Aby and I never had dinner this night because we were still so full from the super late lunch we had earlier. Around 11pm, we were craving for a large iced chocolate drink we've been having form Dunkin Donuts at the convention center. We decided to go to the near Dunkin Donuts just outside our hotel. When we got down the lobby, there were a lot of men in suits. (parang men in black!) They even let us use the staff elevator, parang to make us hurry. (weird!) When we got out of the hotel, there were even more people! They were all lined up as if waiting for someone to go out. Eh nakakahiya, nakapantulog na kami ni Aby, tapos wala na kaming make-uo and ang gulo-gulo na ng hair ko! ahahahahahaha Super bagal pa naman namin maglakad, and they were all looking at the two of us na. I even checked my backe to see who they were waiting for. Eh wala naman! I even asked these three hotel people to take their picture, as we passed by them. ( as if we weren't already taking that long to get out of the way, I even asked for a photo! ahahahahaha)

So we went to Dunkin Donuts na, hoping that it's still open at this time. (mga 11:15pm na) We also noticed that there were a lot of vehicles lined up outside the hotel. Even these buses reached up to the building of the Dunkin Donuts we were going to! Ano bang meron??? When we got there they said, they're closwsing early. Awwww... Kainis! (meron talagang something...) Aby thought we just go to the 711 on the other street, in front of the hotel. I'm sure merong chocolate drink dun!

This street is always filled with stalls, especially at night. A a tuktuk couldn't even get through.

Surprisingly, that night, it was super clear!!! Only the stalls on the sidewalk were left. Ang luwag! nakakatuwa! ahahahahahaha

Success! We already bought our large iced chocolate drinks from 711 (which tasted the same as the drink from Dunkin Donuts!) and we got some chips. As we near the hotel, the vehicles that were parked started to move.

After crossing the street and as we stood besdide the swarm of people waving goodbye to the cars and buses leaving, I asked the hotel person beside me who it was that left. He said, "The Prime Minister."

Wahahahahhahahaha Kaya pala kami minamadali nung mga tao kasi ang dugyot namin tignan, and any moment lalabas na pala yung Prime Minister who had dinner in our hotel! Super picture pa naman ako, not caring what was happening! ahahahahahahaha Di naman kasi nila sinabi eh!!
:)
