Shop and Eat

First stop of my Bangkok trip is Platinum mall in Pratunam. It's just a 10 minute walk from our hotel, and is Aby's favorite shopping place here in Bangkok!

After all the shopping, we finished at around 8pm, which is also the closing of the mall.

For dinner, we headed to Aby's much recommended place called Side Walk. It is an open restaurant just outside Baiyoke Hotel, a few minute walk, which serves the most authentic Thai food! Since I love Thai food so much, especially curry and Pad Thai, I was in Thai food heaven!!

Si manang! Siya yata may ari! haha

We ordered green curry with chicken, Pad Thai and fried rice with shrimps.

It was divine!!

After resting for a while in our room, we asked the front desk where we could get a drink near the hotel. They told us to go to to Water Bar, which is, according to them, a few minute walk from our hotel. Before leaving, we asked them to write the name of the street in and the place in a piece of paper.

Ok, so off to Water Bar! hahahaha The streets were kinda scary, there were no more people around and ir was already 11 in the evening. Wa feel the pain of our tired feet and legs, but we push through because, we we already halfway through, or so we thought! ahahahahahaha Sabi naman kasi pwede lakarin! Kainis!! ahahahahahhaha

But all of a sudden, at the a corner of the street we see Water Bar! Yey!! ahahahahahaha

Sila kuya, biglang nagpose nung pinipicturan ko yung loob! So, whay not! ahahahahhaha

Ordering wasn't that mch of a challenge! It was a no brainer!

Wo ordered Thai beer, Singha and of course, Mai Tai!

In fairness kere yung beer ha! At ang Mai Tai, the best!!! You cannot get more authentic than that! ahahahahha

So after a couple of drinks, we head back to the hotel. If you think the way to the bar was hard, the walk back to the hotel was excruciating! ahahahahaha there were no more tuktuks around!! Chosko!! parang gusto ko na lang tabihan yung taong grasa sa sidewalk para makipahinga!! Di ko na kaya!! ahahahahahhaha

But we got back safe! Freshened up fast and went to bed right away!
